Explanation: Inspired by Jackson Pollock’s gesture painting, I explore how bodily movement can be translated into material traces, allowing the physical act of making to become a visible sign of gesture.

Experimental Process

Before producing Action-Glazing!, I experimented with incorporating various powders into glaze to create a solidified, textured surface. These photographs document the process and results of my glaze experiments.
