Description: The layers of glaze that flow, accumulate, and solidify embody traces of repetitive hand movements and emotional residue. The form of the traditional Korean vessel evokes Korean identity and historical memory, while the surface created through the acts of scattering and allowing glaze to flow reveals a tension between oppression and liberation. The unpredictable transformations of the glaze within the kiln visualize an inner state in which anxiety and freedom coexist.
